Since Matt Hammitt's son, Bowen Hammitt was born with a hole in his heart, the young boy has had to undergo multiple heart surgeries. Leading up to his surgery, he asked me if I would write and record some music with him. Of course I said, “Yes!” I’m so happy to let you know that we’ve finished two songs together. They won’t be released to the general public until July 1st, but I wanted you to have them early.
