Independent hip hop icon KJ-52 has been extremely busy this year. Even after releasing a new book, an audiobook, an accompanying new EP and a mixtape, he's still ready to offer listeners new music. Today, on the U.S. holiday Labor Day, KJ has debuted a brand new single to digital retailers, titled "Summertime." Click here to get it on iTunes. About the project, KJ writes, "Just released the first single from my new untitled project... this one was inspired by my recent trip back to my child hood stomping grounds of N. Michigan. "Summertime' produced by AJ Jenkins (jordin sparks, malcom jamal warner etc..) I have an upcoming follow up to my book "What Happened Was..." book ... (another collection of stories from my life) but I thought a great accompaniment to that would be a project of songs inspired from my book. The track is available on all digital streaming/download formats or you can always go to www.kj52.com/store God bless.. kj"
