Detroit, MI - “When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. Then the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that has caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands. And he found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, and put out his hand and took it, and with it he struck 1,000 men.” [Judges 15:14-15]
Even the strongest man can fall in defeat when he relies on his own power. Those who gain their strength from Christ discover an unmatched power. For the Lord is our strength. It is He who renews us and reveals to us a better way. Despite our attempts to determine the outcome on our own.
Dex the Nerd Who Loves Jesus uses the story of Samson to illustrate an important message.
"Samson teaches us that our stubbornness and leaning on our own understanding can result in failure,” explains Dex. “Only in Christ, we will find our true strength.”
Samson releases to digital streaming platforms on April 7, 2023.
Produced by Praise, the record instantly grabs listeners' attention thanks to a standout synth/organ sample. Dex bodies the track with his polished delivery and cadence. Joining him is fellow Polished Arrow artist Procyse who delivers as the perfect tag team partner while the duo dominates Samson. Are you ready to rumble? This is the ultimate battle cry. Just be sure you know why you’re fighting.
