The song marks a significant time in the artist’s journey for creating contemporary worship music that everyone can relate to. “Jesus Hallelujah” took Carns 18 months to write the song and it took seven revisions before he and producer Brad Vosburg were convinced the lyrics presented a healing power ready to be absorbed by believers around the world. Carns combines Messianic and real-life lyrics in this powerful song for a blend of real Americana music synergized with healing prayer.

Carns’ spiritual solo career began in 1994 in coffee houses in California. He felt the Lord speaking to him at this time. After the Northridge earthquake of 1994, he left California, moved to Nashville, married his sweetheart Caroline (who brought him to the Lord) and began spreading the teachings of Christ through his music. Releases include “Beale Street Swing” and “Gospel Train Coming” both featured in Blues Revue Magazine; “The Watchman” inspired by his trip to Jerusalem; and “Elijah Returns” his most prophetic CD. His music has been featured on television networks including Netflix, PBS, Animal Planet, MTV2, CMT, and The Biography and Travel Channel in multiple countries.
