Memphis, TN; Colorado Springs, CO - “Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him, because we know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will not die again. Death no longer rules over him. For the death he died, he died to sin once for all time; but the life he lives, he lives to God. So, you too consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” [Romans 6:8-11]
What are we imitating? Are we reflecting the world's brokenness or are we living a life displaying the change Christ has brought to our lives? Do we realize the opportunity to be an example of a better way of life? Praising through all challenges is about intentionality and an expectation charged to us all.
“To be an imitator of Him makes me better!” - Arlizzy of Mi Gente Crew
Representatives of Shadow of the Locust (Illustrate) and G-Life (Mi Gente Crew) collaborate on Make Me Feel Alive, an anthem track packed with the truth of dying to self and living fully in the love of Christ.
Make Me Feel Alive hits digital streaming platforms on November 8, 2024.
Veteran emcee Illustrate (Memphis, TN), along with fellow SOTL member CalmPlex (production), teamed up with Mi Gente Crew (Colorado Springs, CO) to create an energetic record that inspires all who identify as followers of Christ to count it all joy because of Jesus's sacrifice.
CalmPlex crafted an instrumental that drives the overall pulse of Make Me Feel Alive. Mi Gente Crew and Illustrate attack their respective verses with a simple approach, delivering an unapologetic and transparent message of truth for anyone who may doubt what God has done for all of mankind.
