"The whole point of this album is to put Jesus back on the throne of our hearts, to galvanize the greater church body, and to strengthen the faith of every believer through faith anthems rooted in the Word of God," shares Red Rocks Worship about their new live project.
The King Is Coming features 10 brand new songs and was recorded live at Red Rocks Church capturing the worship and faith of the evening.
Tyler Roberts of Red Rocks Worship adds, "When people hear these songs, we want them to experience a sense of belonging to a story so much bigger than just their own, we want their faith to be strengthened in the Word of God, and we want them to look forward to the very true reality that Jesus is soon to return."
This album follows the group's Dove Worship Album of the Year nomination for their 2023 release Ascend. The group's hit song, "Good Plans," from Asend has amassed more than 40M streams. They also hit the road last year touring across Tennessee, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Nebraska in addition to playing the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater last fall for the first time. ABOUT RED ROCKS WORSHIP: Red Rocks Worship is the music ministry of Red Rocks Church, a multi-campus congregation based in Denver, Colorado. Since its founding in 2005, Red Rocks Church has grown to become one of the fastest-growing congregations in the country, with campuses throughout Colorado, Texas, and even as far as Belgium. At the heart of Red Rocks Worship is a singular vision shared by the entire church: To make Heaven more crowded. This purpose drives everything we do, from crafting songs that magnify a holy God to creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus in a real and personal way. Their deep desire is to remove religious barriers and focus on what truly matters: people in the presence of God pouring the praises of God. Whether leading worship at a Sunday service, sharing music with the global church, or writing songs for future generations, our goal is simple yet profound: Red Rocks Worship wants everyone to know the only way, the truth, and the life found in Jesus. Red Rocks Worship exists to point people to Him, and through every melody, every lyric, and every moment, we seek to bring glory to the One who changes lives forever.
