Hawaii-based Christian pop punk band The Caballerials are turning up the volume with the release of their brand-new single, “Legend,” available now on all major streaming platforms. The track arrives ahead of the band’s upcoming CD release of their remastered 5-song EP, "Waxed Curbs & Suburbs", on 20 March 2026, with physical CD pre-orders available now at smallsteprecords.com.
Fueled by distorted guitars and heady vocals, “Legend” is a full-throttle skate-punk tribute to Steve Caballero, the iconic Bones Brigade member whose influence helped define a generation of skateboard culture. Blending pop punk energy with their Christian faith, The Caballerials deliver a track that’s equal parts nostalgia, inspiration, and good vibes.
“This one is special to us,” said Derek Watkins (guitar/lead vocals). "(It's) a nod to one of our biggest inspirations - the original legend himself, Steve Caballero - and the skate culture that shaped who we are. For the kids who grew up on scraped knees, warped boards, and loud guitars. For the ones still chasing something. This song is about staying in the fight, carving your own line, & never losing that fire."
“Legend” is streaming now on all major platforms.
CD pre-orders for "Waxed Curbs & Suburbs" EP (Remastered) are available now at smallsteprecords.com. Initially released in 2021, the EP delivered four fast, hook-filled tracks—“Full Sleeves,” “Postcards & Photographs,” “Honneymoon,” and “Heartland Colors”—exploring themes of youth & love with their passionate faith shining through. "Legend" will round out the EP as the 5th song on the new CD release and offers fans a refreshed listening experience, enhanced production, and a tangible piece of The Caballerials’ journey.
