Music runs deep in Gabe’s family. He has the residue of growing up in the Pentecostal church, where his mom and her siblings all sang. On his Father’s side, his dad serves as an composer, arranger, MD and producer having worked with the Father of Contemporary Gospel Music, Edwin Hawkins, while his uncle shared the stage alongside the legendary Miles Davis, a connection that reflects the rich musical heritage influencing Gabe’s artistic journey.

As a continuing student at UNCG, Gabe is part of an innovative music initiative called Pop Tech, a program where technology and modern music creation intersect. Through this program, Gabe continues to experiment with contemporary sounds and push the boundaries of creativity and production.
