NASHVILLE, TN -- August 27th, 2026: Contemporary Christian Music rising star Mary-Clair will take the stage at the sold-out sixth annual Harvest of Hope Family Concert on Saturday, September 12 at Peterson Park in Mattoon, IL. Presented by WBGL and Rural King, the event will also feature MercyMe, Tasha Layton, and Sam Wesley, marking another major live appearance in a busy year for the Nashville singer-songwriter.
"I am so excited to be performing at Harvest of Hope. This will be my first concert in Illinois, and my first time opening for MercyMe!," Mary-Clair goes on to say, "I am so thrilled that I was asked to perform and I can't wait to experience such an amazing event!"
The upcoming performance follows a special summer house show that brought together Nashville artists including Sam Wesley, Eli Gable, and Daniel Spriggs for an intimate evening of live music, worship, and community.
Mary-Clair is also currently working on new songs with leading CCM and Nashville songwriters while continuing to share the stories behind her music.
The momentum follows the release of her current single, "Rise Up," featuring Curb | Word CCM Recording Artist Steven Malcolm, and her acclaimed debut album, Enough. Streaming platform Pandora added "Rise Up" to its popular Christian Workout playlist immediately upon release. Promoted by Pandora to "build strength, build endurance, build faith and hope while you do it! CCM hits with the power for any fitness quest," the playlist has 1M listeners.
Created in conjunction with Kanakuk Kamp's annual summer kick off Memorial Day Weekend event, "Rise Up," this year's event theme song, is a follow-up to the singer/songwriter's 2025 "Kanakuk Song," featuring Tinashe.
"'Rise Up' is a summertime jam to listen to by the pool or dancing with your friends. It glorifies God and gives a listener an anthem to turn up when they need encouragement," reflected Mary-Clair, adding, "Featuring Steven Malcolm, this song is guaranteed to turn your day around!" Mary-Clair headed to Chattanooga, TN, recently for a crowd-pleasing debut performance at the 2026 Jfest Music, Arts and Lifestyle Festival, Tennessee Valley's largest annual Christian Music festival in Chattanooga. Among songs showcased were streaming, fan and critic favorites, "Your Love," "Homesick," "Heaven In the Way," "There's a God," "Enough" and "Never be the Same." Throughout the day, the multi-talented artist met with fans and fellow musicians.
"The entire Vere team is thrilled to be a part of the release of Mary-Clair's debut project, Enough. This has truly been a labor of love, working alongside Mary-Clair's team of management, producers, and songwriters. The support from the DSP's, radio, and the press has been a blessing. This record is amazing!," says Vere Music President and Founder Rusty Harmon.
ABOUT MARY-CLAIR:
Mary-Clair grew up in Nashville where she was moved to perform at an early age, thanks in part to her passion for such diverse artists as Michael Jackson, Queen, and Aerosmith, Christian rock icons DC Talk and Audio Adrenaline, and the more traditional gospel of CeCe Winans and the Gaither Vocal Band. By middle school, she was already getting serious about her calling, taking both voice and piano lessons while beginning to write songs in her journal. Her dreams began coming real in part thanks to Tedd T, one of Nashville's most esteemed producer-songwriters, a chart-topping, multiple award-winner known for his groundbreaking work alongside such diverse artists as Celine Dion, Mutemath, Tauren Wells, and Lauren Daigle. Together they set to work crafting a singular creative approach that melds acoustic textures and symphonic backdrops to showcase Mary-Clair's vocal power and deeply held faith.
Mary-Clair's acclaimed breakthrough debut album, Enough, includes There's A God" and "Falling" among the collection's many highlights. Produced by the 2x GRAMMY® Award-winning producer and songwriter Tedd T (whose credits in addition to the above artists, also include Dolly Parton, for KING & COUNTRY and MercyMe), apart from "There's A God," Enough sees the gifted Nashville native forging her own distinctive vision of contemporary Christian pop on the album's string of hit single releases, "Red Eye," "Enough," "Your Love," and "Heaven In the Way," the latter two joined by official music videos available alongside "Story Behind the Song" and more at the Mary-Clair YOUTUBE channel HERE.
