MINOT, ND -- Jacob Rocky has released his latest single, "Wonder-Working God" feat. KJ-52, delivering an energetic declaration of faith inspired by Romans 8:28 and the assurance that God remains at work even through life's most difficult seasons.
Born from a deeply personal season in Rocky's life, "Wonder-Working God" centers on the belief that both the victories and struggles we experience can ultimately draw us closer to Christ. Rather than ignoring hardship, the song points listeners toward hope -- reminding them that circumstances do not have to be wasted when their lives remain surrendered to God.
That message comes into focus in the song's recurring declaration, "All things work for my good," connecting the track directly to the promise of Romans 8:28 while moving from struggle and fear toward trust, praise and purpose.
"I'm coming out of the toughest season of my life and one thing rings true that everything we experience in life is meant to bring us close to Jesus," Rocky shares. "Nothing is wasted!"
The collaboration brings Rocky together with Christian hip-hop artist KJ-52, adding another dimension to the song's message while connecting two distinct musical voices around a shared declaration of faith. KJ-52's featured section carries that theme further through the tension of hardship, searching and learning to trust God's plan even when the outcome cannot yet be seen.
"Wonder-Working God" was written by Jacob Rocky Cummins and Jonah Sorrentino (KJ-52). Rocky produced the track while also handling lead vocals, instrumentation, recording, mixing and mastering, with KJ-52 contributing featured vocals.
For Rocky, the heart behind the song is ultimately encouragement. "Wonder-Working God" was created for listeners walking through seasons where God's purpose may be difficult to recognize -- offering a reminder that the battles, uncertainty and waiting are not beyond His ability to use for good.
"Wonder-Working God" feat. KJ-52 is available now across major digital music platforms.
