NASHVILLE, TN (October 23, 2026) -- Following the release of her stunning debut album and a recent run of performances across the pond, rising singer-songwriter Lakelin Lemmings is turning the spotlight inward with a beautifully stripped-down piano version of her vulnerable anthem, "I Ain't For Everybody (Piano)," available today.
Originally featured on her self-titled debut album, "I Ain't For Everybody" has become a powerful statement of self-worth for the 20-year-old songstress. In its new piano rendition, Lakelin strips the song back to its emotional core, allowing her voice and the honesty behind the lyrics to take center stage.

Written by Lemmings alongside hit songwriter Mike Mobley and the track's producer and hit songwriter Ash Bowers, "I Ain't For Everybody" delivers a message that is both deeply personal and universally relatable: everyone doesn't have to be everything to everyone.
Fully aware of her own worth, Lakelin embraces the realization that she simply isn't for everybody -- and that's okay. Rather than changing herself to fit someone else's expectations, she knows she is meant for the person who will appreciate and love her for exactly who she is, inside and out.
With little more than piano and her emotionally charged vocals, Lakelin allows the vulnerability of the song to breathe, showcasing the depth and maturity behind the rising artist's music.
The new version arrives ahead of the world premiere of the official music video for "I Ain't For Everybody," taking place Monday, October 26 at 1 pm ET / Noon CT on Lakelin's YouTube Channel. Raw and emotional, the heart-tugging music video balances a sweet simplicity with an impactful, universal message.
Tune in to the "I Ain't For Everybody" music video premiere HERE.
Lakelin made her Song Suffragettes debut this past Monday night (10/19) at Nashville's The Listening Room. The acclaimed female-only weekly songwriter series has included some of the most successful artists in modern country music, including Ashley McBryde, Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce and Lauren Alaina.
Lakelin recently marked another milestone of what continues to be a fast-moving career when she performed across the pond in August. Lakelin graced the stage of the UK's popular Country Calling Festival as well as performed a sold-out headlining show at York's Forty-Five Vinyl Café and performed to an at-capacity crowd at Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
Next up, Lakelin will perform at the 2nd Annual Quartz Hill Music Group Takeover at Chief's on Broadway in downtown Nashville on Monday, November 16. The Takeover event is free and open to the public until full capacity is reached. Find more information and reserve tickets HERE.
At just 20 years old, Lemmings is carving out her own space with a combination of honest songwriting, undeniable vocal ability and a willingness to embrace the parts of herself that make her different.
ABOUT LAKELIN LEMMINGS
When you hear Lakelin Lemmings sing for the first time, you can't help but feel like you've been listening to her forever. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter from West Tennessee is utterly approachable, and undeniably herself. She's the all-American girl next door, with big dreams and the talent to achieve them.
Born and raised in a musical family - her dad was a touring country guitarist - Lakelin began singing at age six and grew up listening to icons like Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn and Lee Ann Womack, along with today's stars Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, alongside a heavy helping of Nineties pop. Lakelin signed her first Nashville publishing deal at just 17 years old and has since amassed more than 300,000 followers across her social platforms. Connection and communication with her audience is what drives Lakelin's songwriting.
On "American Dreamin'," her first song released as a signed artist, Lakelin spells out all the things that shaped her: small towns, a supportive family, a dedication to faith and, of course, country music. Lakelin's subsequent releases from her debut Get Around Boy EP (released in April 2026), "Keep the Faith," "Parking Lot" and "19 and Single," have broadened her reach and set her up to release her eponymous project.
Lemmings self-titled, debut album dropped across all streaming services on July 24. She co-wrote all but one of the album's 16 tracks and recently scored one of the most added songs at country radio with the album's lead single, "Get Around Boy."
