NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Oct. 30, 2026 -- The global hit series The Chosen is giving fans today a new way to experience the story with "Songs Inspired by The Chosen: Seasons 1-5," an album of original music. The release is spearheaded by the debut single "SOS (Don't Let Me Go)" from artist Phil Wickham. The album arrives ahead of the release of the highly anticipated sixth season on Sunday, Nov. 15 exclusively on Prime Video, followed by the global feature film The Chosen Crucifixion only in theaters Friday, March 12, 2027. Seasons 1-5 are currently streaming on Prime Video. The full album is available HERE.
"'SOS (Don't Let Me Go)' came from a deeply personal place. As a close friend battled cancer, I prayed for him and kept returning to Peter walking on water and the reminder to keep our eyes on Jesus through life's greatest storms. Weeks into writing the song, The Chosen team asked me to write one inspired by that very story. Watching Peter cry out, 'Don't let me go,' I saw myself, my friend, and all of us who need Jesus because we can't do it on our own,"said Wickham. "Seeing the song included was a powerful, full-circle moment. My hope is that it reminds people that Jesus is greater than the storm, and we can trust Him to carry us through."
"Millions of people around the world have experienced The Chosen," and each person connects intimately with the story in their own way -- through a character, a scene, or a storyline," said Cam DeArmond, President of 5&2 Studios. "We wanted to work with artists who shared that experience and had their own connection to the series, and who could express their Chosen experience in a way only they can through their lyrics and melodies. We believe music adds another dimension to The Chosen experience and allows fans to encounter the story in a new way through the perspectives of these incredible artists. As Season 6 approaches, we hope these songs invite fans back into the first five seasons and reconnect them with the moments that have resonated most deeply."
A joint project from 5&2 Studios -- creators of The Chosen -- and Capitol Christian Music Group, the album invites artists with a personal connection to the series to respond through music. Songs draw from specific scenes, characters, and themes woven throughout seasons. The full lineup includes Wickham along with Boyz II Men, Franni Cash, Tyler Hubbard, Lady A, LOST & FOUND, Jamie MacDonald, Blessing Offor, Jac Ross, Stephen Stanley, Madison Ryann Ward and Anne Wilson.
"The Chosen has become a global phenomenon because the series connects with fans in a deeply personal way. That connection is what made this project so special for us," said Brad O'Donnell, President of Capitol Christian Music Group. "The artists involved aren't just writing songs -- they're responding to moments that move them. We're honored to be their musical partner."
The rollout began in August with multi-platinum country artist Tyler Hubbard's "All I Need Is You," followed by breakout artist Jamie MacDonald's "Roots," inspired by Psalm 1 and the disciples' resilience through adversity. The project's "I Love The One," brings together seven-time GRAMMY®-winning country group Lady A and four-time GRAMMY®-winning R&B group Boyz II Men. Their harmonies reflect themes audiences have seen throughout The Chosen. The rollout also includes breakout band LOST & FOUND's "My Everything" ahead of the album release. Together, all released tracks have generated 9.5 Million DSP streams and 1.5 Million combined video views through lyric videos and artist interviews with creator/executive producer Dallas Jenkins, alongside 7K+ short-form creations and 10M+ short-form social views.

Jamie MacDonald: "Roots" and the strength to keep following Jesus
Jamie MacDonald draws on Psalm 1 and the disciples' resilience in "Roots":
"For me, 'Roots' is a song about standing strong no matter what comes against you," says MacDonald. "Written out of Psalm 1, about the tree planted by streams of water, it's a reminder that even as the winds may blow and the floods rise, I'm safe because my roots run deep and my home isn't in this world. The more I sing it, the more it feels like the disciples' story, and really, all of our stories, those intimate moments with Jesus that give us the strength to overcome adversity and the courage to say yes to following Him no matter what. No matter what comes against us, our feet can remain firmly planted on the Rock."

Hillary Scott of Lady A describes "I Love The One" with Boyz II Men:
"Collaborating with Boyz II Men on this song is a 'pinch me' moment for all of us. Their voices have been in my ears my whole life, so to hear us harmonize brings tears and goosebumps. Being a writer on 'I Love The One,' I was inspired by some of my favorite stories in the Bible. The woman who grabs the hem of His garment and is healed is especially poignant to me. I started watching The Chosen with my teenage daughter, and we've been deeply impacted by the portrayal of Jesus, and His love and mercy for us. We're forever grateful to Boyz II Men for their willingness to join us to sing these lyrics and melody in unity together." -- Hillary Scott (of Lady A)
Boyz II Men add:
"Our journey has always been grounded in faith and the belief that music can serve a purpose greater than ourselves," said Boyz II Men. "The message behind The Chosen resonates deeply with us, reflecting the trust that every chapter of life can be part of a larger plan. With 'I Love The One,' we're honoring the source of the strength, love and grace that have sustained us throughout our career. Collaborating with Lady A allowed us to unite our distinct sounds and share that message in a powerful new way."

LOST & FOUND: Childlike faith at the heart of "My Everything"
LOST & FOUND reflect on childlike faith and surrender in "My Everything":
"My Everything is a song about approaching your relationship with God with childlike faith. It's a reminder to let go of control, surrender your fears, and trust the Lord completely. Just as the children in The Chosen simply delighted in being with Jesus, we're invited to come before Him with the same innocence and dependence, knowing He is our source of strength, peace, healing, and joy. When we stop striving and rest in His presence, we discover that His love is enough. Our prayer is that this song encourages people to step into the fullness of His love and allow Him to truly become their everything."

Tyler Hubbard: From family viewing to personal faith
Tyler Hubbard connects "All I Need Is You" to watching The Chosen with his family:
"Me, my three kids, and my wife, it's a nightly ritual for us to watch The Chosen. We really got into it! It's a show that I love and am connected to, so I was really excited to personally be a part of the show and part of the music. [All I Need Is You] is a song that's out of my normal country music box. It's a song that hits close to home. I think a lot of people can relate to the need for Jesus. To write a song about something that really matters is extra special."

Anne Wilson: "Even This" and the question of unanswered prayer
Anne Wilson connects "Even This" with Little James' conversation with Jesus:
"Even This" is all about trusting that God can use every part of our story, even the most painful parts we wish so badly we could change. Nothing is too broken or too far gone for Him to redeem. I think about the moment in The Chosen when Little James asks Jesus to heal him, and Jesus explains that He has a plan for his life. Even if He doesn't heal us on this side of heaven, one day we will be healed on the other side. I think that's such a powerful reminder that even when the miracle we're praying for doesn't come, God is using what we're walking through for a greater purpose and for His kingdom. I'm so grateful to have this song connected to The Chosen, and my prayer is that it reminds people that even in their darkest moments, God is with them."
Stephen Stanley: The first episode sparks ExileStephen Stanley on the first episode's inspiration for "Exile":
"Several years ago, I watched the first episode of The Chosen. After the episode ended, I wrote down the title "Exile" and later wrote the entire song in one night. The scene where we first see Jesus and His interaction with Mary Magdalene was what truly inspired the song. Years later, this song is now on the Songs Inspired by The Chosen album. I have no idea how The Chosen heard this song or how it got picked. But the fact that this song is connected to the show in any way is absolutely mind-blowing."

Madison Ryann Ward: Fully known and loved at the well
Madison Ryann Ward on "Open The Well":
"There are many lessons to be learned from the story of the woman at the well. The lesson that inspired my song is that nobody is counted out and no level of shame can ever stand a chance in the presence of Jesus. Writing "Open The Well" gave me the opportunity to narrate how the exchange might have felt between Jesus and the Samaritan woman we read about in Scripture. Like other Bible characters we relate to, sometimes we see ourselves in that person in Scripture. The story of the woman at the well, however, is the deep calling to deep for my own soul. I may not have had five husbands, but I am still that woman with a past, overcome by love at the realization that I'm fully known and cherished anyway. Something about the story that captured my heart as I wrote this song is how before the encounter, Jesus was a stranger to the woman but never the other way around. Despite this, He revealed Himself to her and accompanied it with encouragement in who she was by acknowledging her. And, that's a comfort that I also have in Christ. He wants to draw near to me even if or when I might choose to hide or retreat. The beauty of the woman being spoken to directly by Jesus also highlights the value God places on every woman across the world today -- no matter her story or status. When the Messiah shows up and meets us exactly where we are, He offers restoration and living water. Knowing that is really refreshing."

Blessing Offor: Finding the gift in the waiting
Blessing Offor on "Broken Me":
"I personally am a huge fan of this show. Both in its artistic excellence and in the creative way it presents the Jesus narrative. This song comes from a place of appreciating all the questions James asked Jesus. And deeply resonates with Jesus's answer. The waiting is hard, and yet the waiting can sometimes be the gift."

Franni Cash: Beautiful faith that refuses to quit
Franni Cash on "Beautiful Faith"
"The scene between Jesus and Tamar reminds us that Jesus honors the kind of faith that refuses to quit. It is not passive or distant, but persistent and personal. When the chorus cries out, "I want that, stop you in your tracks, faith beyond the facts, the kind that rips the roof off the place," it becomes more than a lyric. It becomes a longing. Tamar did not settle for safe or sensible belief. She wanted the kind of faith that makes room for miracles, that dares to interrupt the ordinary, that expects to hear, 'Get up and walk.' The powerful. The supernatural. The borderline irrational, radical, beautiful faith."

Jac Ross: Follow Me and the invitation to a different future
Jac Ross reflects on Jesus calling Matthew:
"I believe one of the greatest revelations in life is discovering that even when we are not pursuing God, His goodness is still pursuing us. That is the heart behind my song Follow Me. In The Chosen, when Jesus calls Matthew, He sees beyond the man the world has judged and recognizes the man grace can transform. What makes that moment so profound is that Jesus doesn't ask Matthew to explain his past or prove his worth. He simply invites him into a different future. I believe that is the mystery and beauty of God's love. He meets us in the very places where we feel most lost, not to remind us of who we were, but to reveal who we were created to be. Follow Me is my reflection on that truth. Sometimes the greatest act of faith is not having every answer, but trusting the One who calls us. And perhaps the most beautiful discovery of all is realizing that the God we've spent our lives searching for has been lovingly reaching for us all along."
