FERGUS FALLS, Minn. -- Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader Sam Evans released "Surrender" on Oct. 9, 2026, through UnitedMasters. The Christian AC / gospel single, available now, centers on daily surrender, humility and the ongoing work of allowing God to reshape the heart.

Evans wrote the song while studying at Nazarene Bible College and serving in Michigan. As his understanding of grace deepened, he began recognizing that pride, jealousy and envy are not always loud or obvious, but can still be things believers need to lay down before God. "Surrender" presents that process as a continuing journey rather than a one-time spiritual moment.

"This song is a great reminder for me to daily surrender my pride and my life to Christ," Evans says.

The song also reflects Evans' ministry experience. He recalls a conversation with someone he had ministered to in Alabama who told him the song had spoken deeply during a difficult season. The moment led to prayer for inward change and reinforced Evans' belief that songwriters may not always see every outcome, but can still invite listeners into honest conversations where God can work.

For Evans, the song fits naturally within a broader ministry centered on testimony, worship and encouraging people to keep walking with Christ. The release follows "Made for Worship," a personal song that has become a strong live connection point and is currently being developed through a focused Christian radio campaign.
