Nashville, TN (October 8, 2008) – Ring the Bells, Travis Cottrell’s
debut Christmas project, has only been released a day and has truly struck a chord with listeners of all ages, genres and
musical preferences.
Rapidly reaching #3 on the iTunes Holiday Music Chart, Ring the Bells is a combination of both original and classic
Christmas songs, all brought to life by Cottrell’s pure, powerful vocals and the production and classic vision of Brown
Bannister. This project truly celebrates the birth of our Savior and communicates a clear message of the true meaning of
Christmas.
Highlights on the project include a duet with Curb Records’ GMA Dove Award 2008 Female Vocalist of the Year, Natalie Grant on
the title track “Ring the Bells,” which was co-written by Ronnie Freeman and GMA Dove Award 2008 Songwriter of the
Year, Cindy Morgan. The song will impact radio in November on multiple formats, and promises to become an instant holiday
classic. Three of the songs, “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” and “O Holy Night” feature the
impeccable backing of the London Symphony Orchestra, creating an epic, breathtaking musical experience.
