>> Anberlin Returns To The Studio
Rock act Anberlin is hard at work in the studio right now working on their next full-length album. The guys have teamed with producer Aaron Sprinkle once again, who produced the band's first three albums, including the fan favorite, Cities. The band's two most recent records--New Surrender and Dark Is The Way, Light Is A Place--were not helmed by Sprinkle. There's no official release date for the new album, but more details should be announced as everything continues to come together.

>> Slick Shoes Reunite For Live Performance!
Slick Shoes are back and have planned a reunion show with fellow punk rock band Craig's Brother at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA on March 17th. Tickets are only $12.00 and can still be purchased online. Visit the Chain Reaction website for more details! (Thanks to Chad R. for the tip)

>> Close Your Eyes Lead Vocalist Exits
There have been a lot of rumors lately about the status of Close Your Eyes, and yesterday the band cleared things up with the following announcement regarding lead vocalist, Shane Raymond, leaving the band... "Recently, there have been many rumors and assumptions about us due to our cancellation of the Symptoms & Cures tour. We regret having to cancel but it was something we needed to do for personal reasons. We appreciate the patience and support from all of our fans. Unfortunately, we have to confirm that Shane will be leaving Close Your Eyes. Touring as much as we do with few breaks in between can be difficult on anyone. The fact of the matter is, Shane has had troubles with his voice and vocal performances due to stress and physical strain. Simply put, he can no longer continue being our vocalist. Touring isn't for everybody. Some realize it early on, others later. Shane realized he didn't enjoy touring long ago, but still pursued the road with us despite the mental and physical struggles that came with it. We love Shane and hope for the best in whatever he does from here on out. We hope all of our fans can understand this difficult decision. We appreciate all of the support over the years and still hope to have continued love and devotion from all of you as we have to you." (Thanks to Nick F. for the tip)

>> Search The City Plan New Album
It's been long rumored and talked about that Search The City is returning with a brand new record. The guys are back together (sans drummer Adam Mcmillion, who joined Fireflight, and Brandon Ellis is no longer on bass), and had this to say about their new project recently on their Facebook page, "Hello Everyone! If you have been following us lately you know that we are back and we have been busy writing the follow up to A Fire So Big The Heavens Can See It. We are hard at work recording demos and we should be entering the studio soon. Stay tuned and we'll keep you updated along the way!" You can also follow them now on Twitter for the latest updates.

>> Remedy Drive Share Videos From The Studio
Remedy Drive, who recently announced finding a new label home in Centricity Music, have been working on a new full-length studio album to be due out this Fall. The guys have also shared three short videos that give fans a glimpse into what's happening in the studio. About the experience, the band writes, "Our time in the studio is almost finished and our album is coming to life. We're so excited to get this new music to you this fall. We're also excited to get back on the road. We've got a big spring tour coming up, we'll be putting on a lot of miles and playing a lot of music." All three studio videos are worth checking out, too: Video One | Video Two | Video Three.

>> The River Empires Offer Free New Song
The River Empires, a side project from the guys in Falling Up, have released a new song titled "Five Circles" for free via Noisetrade. Check it out here: http://www.noisetrade.com/theriverempires (Thanks to Rose for the tip)

>> Trip Lee Releases New Song To iTunes
