JFH's Highlighting 2008 Winner!
#1. Family Force 5
untitled

Release Date: Summer '08
I’ll never forget standing at that 2005 GMA Showcase with John, and Family Force 5 walking out on the stage. No one knew who they were, but by the time they had finished, we’d never forget. And then the next year, they finally released a record and became about as popular as we had expected. Can they do it again? We can only hope the Good Lord will bless us a second time with another party record of the year.
        - Josh Taylor

Still one of the best bands I've ever seen live, Family Force 5 sank our jaws to the floor for the first time almost three years ago and just the thought of a sophomore record feels like a kiss on the forehead from Jesus. Sure our expectations are high, but I'm pretty sure these guys aren't even familiar with the word "disappoint" let alone "sophomore slump."
        - John DiBiase

Family Force 5 is poised to release their sophomore record this summer and here at JfH we couldn’t be more thrilled. After debuting a sound that basically redefined the “Christian party scene,” Family Force 5 will bring back their signature “crunk” sound and are sure to rock the masses once again with this new release. Definitely one to watch out for, Love Addicts!
        - Justin Mabee

I'm not predicting a sophomore slump with this coming album. Even after Business Up Front, Party In The Back was released, they recorded three more songs which were even better than what was on the original album. While I'm hoping for less dorky songs this time around (and more in the vein of "Face Down"), I can't see this being a disappointment either way.
        - Scott Fryberger
