Gosh, I love this movie. It's definitely the Empire Strikes Back of the MCU, ending on a painful cliffhanger that left us breathless in the theater. As a late-April baby, I never had good movies coming out on or even around my birthday, but finally... finally, in 2018, an Avengers movie came out on my birthday -- and a really good one! Every time I watch the movie, it's like I'm given a shot of adrenaline. It's just so good. The fight scenes are epic, and the way the characters from so many different films meet and interact is just fantastic. There are even threads from many previous MCU movies that converge and pay off here. I don't think Infinity War gets enough credit for what it accomplishes... and sets up for the next film.

Honorable Mentions: 2018 actually had a bunch of great movies and if I could choose four top movies for 2018, it'd have to be Mission: Impossible - Fallout, the excellent latest entry in the series; A Quiet Place, which was a fantastic monster movie thriller; and the wonderful indie film, Green Book. (I was so happy to see Green Book take the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2019. It deserved it!)
