VERSE 1
You called me out
What was I living for?
Sleepwalker, come to daylight
Oh, I was striving
Striving…but I couldn’t make it alright
Oh, no, I couldn’t make it alright
Oh, no

VERSE 2
You called my name
In a way I’d never heard it before
Cut right through my pretension
Opened my eyes
To the love I was searching for

CHORUS
Don’t let me lose my way
Stray from the path or wander off
Led out by the lie that it’s enough
To take this gift and not give up
Oh, don’t let me drink from an idol’s cup
Don’t let me, no, Lord
I don’t want to go, Lord
Keep me by Your side, Lord
Ever by Your side, my Lord
Ever by Your side, my Lord

VERSE 3
You changed my name
You have given all I needed and more
Truth not of my invention
Brought me to life
And pure love I was hurting for

CHORUS
Don’t let me lose my way
Stray from the path or wander off
Led out by the lie that it’s enough
To take this gift and not give up
Oh, don’t let me drink from an idol’s cup
Don’t let me, no, Lord
I don’t want to go, Lord
Keep me by Your side, Lord
Ever by Your side, my Lord
Ever by Your side, my Lord

BRIDGE
And the longer I walk this way
The more I trust You
The farther I come this way
The harder I hold on
And as darker becomes this day
The more I’ll seek Your face
So I won’t be drawn from You

CHORUS
Don’t let me lose my way
Stray from the path or wander off
Led out by the lie that it’s enough
To take this gift and not give up
Oh, don’t let me drink from an idol’s cup
Don’t let me, no, Lord
I don’t want to go, Lord
Keep me by Your side, Lord
Ever by Your side, my Lord
Ever by Your side, my Lord
