Verse 1:
A river of fire is flowing from Your throne
You’re a consuming flame, O Ancient of Days
And every part of me I have built on my own
Burns in Your blaze, O Ancient of Days
Chorus:
And I can’t stand
In the appearance of
The likeness of the glory of You
With Your heavy hand
Upon my heart
I surrender to the Ancient of Days
I bow before the Ancient of Days
Verse 2:
Burning embers are within the wheel
You’re a whirling wind, O Ancient of Days
You stir the sleeping Bride, and ignite her zeal
You’re a jealous love, O Ancient of Days
You’re a jealous love, O Ancient of Days
(Repeat Chorus)
Bridge:
Who was and is and is to come
Our God forever more
Who is to stand on that great day
Before our Sovereign Lord
