BEHIND THE SONG: Psalm 18 is where this song has come from. Our never-failing God, our Rock, our immovable Foundation, our strong Tower. Find your security in His promises, and the strength of His love for you today and always. Our Hope will ever rest in Him. I wrote this with my beautiful friend Beth Gleeson, wife and mum—with the purest heart after God, and one of the best writers I know. It was a stunning day on the Central Coast, and both of us were trusting God for breakthrough in different areas of our lives. And as we worshipped this line, ‘You won’t let go, You won’t give in, You surround me with Your love’ just poured out. Oh, how I love watching God’s promises break through our lives like the dawn… ‘the earth may groan, but a SONG of HOPE continues to rise like loud glory…’
