"Shining is the other song on the new record that comes from an earlier time in my life. This was on my independent record as well. I’ve always loved singing it. It’s pretty simple really. The theme of it is being in the presence of God. How in his presence there is no fear, in His light we are exposed for who we really are and yet still completely and fully loved.
