Behind the Song:
"After basically finishing the album, Derek Hoiem and I were at my house talking about all the songs and the length of the record. We both agreed one more song was needed, and we wanted it to be different than the rest. The Gospel Music Association convention was coming up and Derek had been in talks with Paul Wright about performing at our showcase (which he did!) In the midst of all, I heard some songs Paul produced. I knew Paul since about 2001 and I had deep respect for his talent in songwriting, performing and producing. I pitched the idea to Derek about using Paul to produce the song and he agreed! When we met for the first time to lay down a demo for the track, Paul challenged me to tighten up the hook and the verses. I re-wrote the entire song that night! He brought up the point that I should share a little bit of what was going on in my life at that time. Listen to the first verse carefully and it spells it out pretty clear. Then listen to the second verse even closer to put it all in perspective. The track was finished out and mixed by Jeff Frankenstein from the Newsboys. It is a very special track to me since it is not only so personal, it also allowed me to work with people for whom I have a TON of respect and admiration." - Benjiman
