Yes Noah took his hammer, to start to build his ark
this was what God had told him, this was to be his job
he built the boat on dry ground, far away from sea
As God had said to Noah, the water is on me
because of all the evil, because of all the sin
because of all denying, let's have a new begin

But Jesus is the same today, all days
right now, and to eternity

Yes everyone was laughing, said that man must be insane
they took him for an idiot, but he did not complain
they didn't see no water, they didn't see no rain
they kept on mockin' Noah, they said; it was in vain
But, Lord gave support to Noah. In his big enterprise
and when it started rainin', they knew it was no lies

today as before
even if we don't use saw and hammer anymore

for Jesus to return
