It seems to me that nothing's made to last

And as we reach to make it ours
it disappears with its elusive powers
But shadows reveal, where light's comin from
Don't stay in the dark, move into the sun

Perhaps it's the best, to let the past be past
and not to cling to things that couldn't last
out security lies in who we are
and not the things that are under our power
in tomorrow’s world

he needs to know that he'll love her still
in tomorrow’s world

There must be something we can build upon
There must be someone, who goes on and on
Unchanged by time and all that has been
who sees all things and things unseen
in tomorrow’s world
