Behind the Song:
'I wrote this one back home in California, probably two days before the deadline of turning in the record. It was one of those late bloomers in the process, but probably the one I am most proud of. “Grace” and “Messiah” really go back to back with the theme of needing a Savior and needing to be saved. I love starting out the record with the idea of being desperate and needy, basically that we can’t do this on our own, and then saying “Messiah, I need you.”' - Phil Wickham
