"I had the privilege to work with songwriter Rivers Rutherford on one of my albums and really admire his writing. When I was growing up, I would hear people in my church sometimes refer to someone as being “too heavenly minded for any earthly good.” I think in today’s culture it may be just the opposite. Too earthly minded for any heavenly good. I believe that living in the light of eternity will impact the way we live today. This song reminds me to do that.
