
Nashville, TN (June 24, 2014) ----- Steve Rice, Vice President at Centricity Publishing, LLC/Centricity Songs BMI, announced today the signing of award-winning songwriter, David Myers. Myers joins an illustrious roster of songwriters at the company that include; Seth Mosley, Jason Gray, Unspoken, Jonathan Lee and others. Myers is an accomplished singer/songwriter, having started writing and performing music in his teens, and recently winning Puckett's Rising Star competition in Franklin, TN and the 2011 song competition at Write About Jesus Conference in St. Louis, MO. He currently has three songs on the latest Satellites and Sirens album (One Noise), "Teach Me How To Love," "Breakthrough," and "Keep Running."

About David Myers
David Myers hails from West Virginia, where he was surrounded by a musical upbringing. He began writing, producing and performing his own music at the age of 14, and traveled the U.S. leading worship at church and youth events. He also served as a Youth Minister and Worship Pastor at churches in Virginia and West Virginia. He married his wife, Elaine, in 2004 and shortly afterwards the couple moved to Nashville, TN. In Music City, Myers started collaborating with other songwriters and lending his production talents to other artist's projects. Currently, Myers serves as a tour road manager and musician for Christian artist, Josh Wilson, while staying active with his songwriting career. He and his wife Elaine have two sons, Ezra and Oliver.
