NASHVILLE, TENN. (November 06, 2026) Gotee Records' Cochren & Co. celebrates another career milestone as their hit song "One Day" has officially earned RIAA Gold certification. The certification marks Cochren & Co.'s second RIAA Gold single, joining their previously certified hit "Church (Take Me Back)," and further solidifies their growing impact on Christian music.
Featured on the band's 2021 debut album, Don't Lose Hope, "One Day" has continued to resonate with listeners through its hopeful message and signature soulful sound. Written by Michael Cochren, Bryan Fowler, and Matt Armstrong, the song has remained a fan favorite, now reaching this special milestone.
The latest certification adds to an exciting season for Cochren & Co., who have amassed more than 780 million lifetime streams. The band's current single, "What Grace Can Do," is making its mark at Christian radio, currently sitting at No. 8 on the charts. Cochren & Co. is also bringing their dynamic live show to audiences nationwide as part of Zach Williams' Revival Nights Tour.
The certification follows the release of the band's third full-length studio album , Runs In The Blood, in May. The 12-song collection represents one of the most personal and artistically expansive projects of Michael Cochren's career, blending the band's signature rock, soul, and blues influences with heartfelt, faith-filled storytelling. The album generated an impressive 1.87 million streams during its first week and received prominent playlist support across Spotify, Amazon Music, and Pandora.
With two RIAA Gold certifications, continued radio success, and a growing audience across streaming platforms and live performances, Cochren & Co. continues to build on an already remarkable career, connecting listeners with songs rooted in hope, faith, and authenticity.

ABOUT GOTEE RECORDS: In 1992, a production team of three talented guys with diverse tastes shared a love for music. Producers Joey Elwood and Todd Collins, along with Grammy-winning artist TobyMac, launched Gotee Records in 1994 after unsuccessfully finding a label deal for the R&B trio Out of Eden. With a steady focus on artistry, the new label expanded to reflect the diverse interests of its founders. Within 12 months, Christafari, GRITS, and Johnny Q. Public were signed, easily representing four different music categories: R&B, reggae, rap, and rock. In the 25-plus years since Gotee's founding as a record label, it has launched the careers of Relient K, Jennifer Knapp, Sonicflood, Jamie Grace, and, more recently, Capital Kings, Ryan Stevenson, Hollyn, and Aaron Cole. The present-day in the Gotee story is much like the label's early days. Through all the changes in the tumultuous music industry, the boutique label's independent spirit is maintained through a steady focus on artist development and diversity. In 2025, Bell Partners Worldwide acquired Gotee Records, launching a new division, Bell Partners Christian Music, which aimed to expand the global reach of Christian music artists. Gotee executives Joey Elwood and Toby McKeehan (tobyMac) will continue in leadership roles at Gotee as well as at Bell Partners Christian Music, with Elwood serving as CEO of the latter.
