For our 7th annual Highlighting feature, we split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and July to December. Normally, we select our top 25 most anticipated releases for the whole year, but we realize that it's tough to really gauge EVERYTHING that may release throughout a given year when we're making the list in January. So, for 2012, we split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and July to December, and we're using this format again for 2013. Also, each list contains 15 artists/releases for a total of 30 in total for 2013.

If you think an artist may be missing on this list, please keep in mind they may have made our list for the first half of the year before their release date was pushed back to the latter half of the year (like Switchfoot, Five Iron Frenzy and Relient K, for example). Without further ado, we give you Highlighting Second-Half 2013!

	6 of 15   #6. Norma Jean Wrongdoers Release Date: August 6, 2013 Norma Jean has been a pretty consistent band despite some lineup changes. The band who made their name on a chaotic style of metal is returning with what promises to be a top metal album in 2013.         - Michael Weaver Music lovers are rightly skeptical any time their favorite band promises a return to their "roots." While Norma Jean's Cory Brandon hasn't actually promised Bless The Martyr and Kiss the Child: Part 2, he has stated that the latest NJ release will be a combination of "old-school Norma Jean" and something entirely more experimental. Given the high quality of the group's last few efforts, this hybrid-styled project stands to be one of 2013's more impressive metal-related releases.         - Bert Gangl Wrongdoers is such an interesting name for an album by a band that seemingly can do no wrong. They've adapted and changed through the years, and each time, they've blown me away.
