“My wife, Amanda, gets upset when I tell our business. She’s not into like the whole music thing. She doesn’t like the stage, and she doesn’t want our kids around it. She’s very protective about being overly involved in the business, and there’s a lot of wisdom in that. But she knows I write songs about us, and this is a very personal song. Many lines are there to encourage my wife, but I know those lines could encourage anybody in a relationship.
