NASHVILLE, TN (January 20, 2026) – Antonio-Maleek has released his debut radio single, “John 14:6,” to Christian radio, marking a defining milestone in the journey of the San Antonio-based Christian Hip-Hop artist whose music is rooted in testimony, transformation, and unwavering gospel truth.

Built on the powerful words of Jesus, “I am the way and the truth and the life,” the single delivers a clear and uncompromising message of faith through honest lyricism and modern CHH production by Eternal Beatz. From the opening refrain declaring, “I’m dropping my things, I’ll take up my cross and I’m following You,” the song establishes its purpose immediately. This is not performance-driven faith, but surrendered faith. The track reflects a life redirected, trading control for obedience and chains for freedom, as Antonio-Maleek recounts personal change through Christ.

“John 14:6” mirrors the artist’s own spiritual journey. While music had always been part of his life, clarity came when he realized that Christian Hip-Hop was not just a genre choice but a calling. Attempts to write secular music felt forced and unfulfilling, while gospel-centered lyrics flowed naturally. During a season when his walk with God drifted, the desire to create faded entirely. Once he recommitted his heart to the Lord, both passion and purpose returned. A defining moment arrived while listening to secular rap, when Christian lyrics repeatedly formed in his mind over the beats. That moment confirmed his direction. His gift was meant to point people to Christ.

Lyrically, the song weaves Scripture and lived experience together. Lines like “Old me had a lot of chains, used to want control now I’m handing You the reins” speak to surrender and renewal, while references to James 1:2–4 and the narrow path reinforce a faith refined through testing. The chorus anchors the song in the words of Christ Himself, culminating with the Scripture quotation that gives the track its name, reminding listeners that salvation is found in Christ alone.

Antonio-Maleek’s musical foundation grew from a lifelong love of rhythm, rhyme, and sound, influenced by artists such as TobyMac, Lecrae, and Andy Mineo. Though he released a small number of independent tracks in the past, limited resources kept his music from reaching a wider audience. Over time, new opportunities allowed him to invest fully in his calling. He is currently working with McLaughlin Music Group for artist development and promotion, receiving strategic guidance as he sharpens his sound, strengthens his message, and expands his ministry through music.

At the heart of his journey is steadfast personal support, especially from his wife, whose prayer, encouragement, and belief sustained him through seasons of waiting and uncertainty. Her presence remains a constant source of strength as he steps forward in obedience.

As his debut radio single, “John 14:6” introduces Antonio-Maleek not only as an artist, but as a messenger. Through Christian Hip-Hop, his mission is clear: to share the gospel, speak truth into real life struggles, and use his voice to draw hearts closer to Christ.
