DAYTON, OH — January 23, 2026 — Following the success of their Music And God EP series, the Ohio-based alt-pop-rock duo Dragons & Astronauts has officially released their highly anticipated debut full-length album, 11:28. Now available across all major streaming platforms and on compact disc, the album serves as a raw, melodic invitation to those navigating life’s heaviest burdens.
Taking its title from the biblical verse Matthew 11:28 — "Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" — the album explores themes of trauma, hopelessness, and the journey toward reality. Led by the single "Every Beautiful Moment," the 11-track project blends soaring rock anthems with vulnerable pop sensibilities.
"This album is us preaching to anyone but the choir," says vocalist Josh. "We want to reach people who have been in the same situations we’ve faced: hopelessness, heartache, and self-righteousness. We want you to know you're not alone."
Guitarist Aaron adds, "11:28 represents a journey. Every broken moment and every beautiful moment is connected. We hope listeners join us on this journey into Reality."
In addition to its musical mission, Dragons & Astronauts continue their commitment to philanthropy. The duo donates 100% of proceeds from all sales on Bandcamp to the AKC Canine Health Foundation, specifically supporting research into canine epilepsy—a cause close to the band’s heart.

Formed by Josh Vest (vocals, guitar, bass, drums) and Aaron Cheadle (guitar, vocals), Dragons & Astronauts is an alt-pop-rock duo known for their high-energy sound and mission-driven lyrics. Twenty years after a falling out drove them apart, the duo behind Greenstick Fracture reconciled and reunited in 2024 to release Music And God, followed by Music And God Vol. 2 in June of 2025.
