Empty Smith cover
06. When I Enter Your House
Album: Empty Smith
Artist: Empty Smith

My steps go astray
When I consider their ways
Charmed lives charmed dreams
Proud words proud schemes

Do You see at all
My bitter days?
Why do I fall
While wicked raise?

Have I washed my hands for nothing?
Have I washed my hands in vain?

When I enter Your house
Then I understand
You are God We are man Our fate rests in Your hands
And my good is You

They are at ease
while I lose hope
I dare not speak
And expose my soul

My heart and my flesh may fail but You are the strength of my heart

Their feet will slip
Washed away in Your flood
Arise Oh Lord!
Save me by Your unfailing love!
