For our
9th annual

Highlighting Second-Half 2015! -- Please keep in mind that any artists that placed in the
First Half (like
TobyMac,
Pillar and winner
Paper Route) won't be re-listed here!

#2. Andrew Peterson
The Burning Edge of Dawn
Release Date: October 9, 2015

I love Andrew Peterson more with every listen, and he has only been getting better over time. I will be shocked if his newest is not in consideration for album of the year.

Peterson's last original album, Light For The Lost Boy, was my favorite album of that year, and after reading his latest book in his Windfeather saga, I'm looking forward to where Peterson goes next. Musically, Peterson is evolving past his folk roots into something more interesting and nuanced each time out.
- Alex "Tincan" Caldwell

The way Andrew Peterson consistently and earnestly captures a story has made him a staple in the singer/songwriter arena. With some of his strongest work coming from his most recent albums we have no reason to believe that this upcoming release will be anything less than spectacular.
- Christopher Smith

 |
A storyteller and a poet, Mr. Peterson surely serves a unique role in this iteration of our countdown. He's gained enough notoriety over the years that any new material will get a good long look from us. His next work will be important, no doubt.
- Roger Gelwicks
